Astro Computer Training is based in the heart of Newbridge town in County Kildare. We deliver computer training courses in our Newbridge centre for all our clients in Kildare, Laois, Carlow and surrounding areas. We now offer courses for our clients in Dublin, Tallaght and surrounding areas from the Aras Croi Nua centre in Kilinarden Tallaght.

We provide a four prong approach to training, our classrooms, your classrooms, office or home. Whichever prong you decide to touch, training is provided by our professional qualified trainers who are all EDI JEB qualified.

In the past year it has become evident that more of our clients are embracing computer training courses to enhance employment opportunities. We aim to provide high quality, cost effective computer training courses and solutions of value to all companies, groups and individuals in Newbridge Town, Kildare, Dublin, Tallaght, Laois, Carlow and surrounding areas. Recently serving members of the Defence Forces completed ECDL training with us and received part funding from the Department of Defence why not check it out, and do not forget FAS Funding may also available.

Courses range from EDI JEB Teaching Diploma and Train the Trainer for users wishing to take up employment opportunities in the area of computer training or those willing to provide contract training for large and small companies. FETAC Level 5 and Advanced ECDL for the advanced user FETAC Level 3 and ECDL Core for the everyday user. Equal Skills, Benefit 3 and our own tailored Introduction to Computer Course for clients new to computers. Tailored courses in File Management, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher are also an option.

One to One Training is also available and advice on spreadsheet, Database, Presentation and Template design is also provided. Walkin tests for ECDL Core and Advanced are another option we offer to our clients. When you are ready to take a test contact our centre to talk with a tester and remember we use ECDL Automated Testing Software meaning you receive your result immediately on completion of a test

We have teamed with the Department of Communications and the Ballyfermot IT Centre to offer the Benefit 3 Communities Connect programme offering a 10 Hour Internet course for a fee of €10 designed to help learners overcome their fear of the Internet Read More
